Huawei – The World’s #3 Smartphone Brand has recently launched their newest powerful smartphone, the Huawei Mate 8, the sequel to last year’s Mate 7. During the launch at Solaire Casino and Resort, Charles Wu – Huawei’s Country Managing Director proudly shared the product milestones as they continue to increase their popularity in the world.

According to Charles Wu, there are now more than 7,000 stores selling Huawei Smartphone brand in the Philippines and to offer a higher level of customer service, they recently opened their first exclusive service center in Gateway Mall in Araneta Center, Cubao.

We became strong #3 brand Worldwide and second biggest brand in Europe, not to mention that we doubled our PH revenue last year – Jojo Vega – Huawei’s Consumer Business Director.

During the launch, Huawei’s GTM Manager Nino Carandang presented some of their latest products that include Huawei GR5, Huawei Media Pad M2 and Huawei Mate 8.

With a 6.00-inch touchscreen display and a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels, this newest flagship android smartphone will soon dominate the Philippine Market. Unlike other competing brands, this new smartphone’s storage can be expanded to 64gb via a micro sd slot.

Travelers and foodies will love this phone because it has a 16-megapixel primary front camera. We were able to test it and I am truly impressed with the photos. Huawei Mate 8 also has a 16-megapixel camera on the back and it is powered with optical image stabilization and dual-LED flash.
