Canon Pushes Out EOS M5 Compact Mirrorless Camera in the Philippines
The newly launched EOS M5 mirrorless camera from Canon is every camera enthusiast’s dream.

Unlike in previous versions, the EOS M5 uses the AF technology. Thus, the camera can track a subject’s movements with high precision. The new AF technology automatically adjusts itself to sustain focus and track a subject as they approach or move away from the camera, unlike previous AF systems. As the M5 has the capability to shoot with continuous AF at 7fps, it can capture important details at high speed. When the focus is locked, the M5 can go up to 9fps.

The camera comes with a new dynamic DIGIC 7 processor that can track several subjects at the same time. The AF frame size is smaller compared to previous versions. This feature allows the M5 focus on finer details as subjects move around the frame. The clarity of images is excellent, thanks to the image correction capabilities of the M5. To reduce the loss of details, the system comes with diffraction correction features. The camera is also equipped with panning technology that lets the user shoot objects moving at high speed while keeping it in view. The M5’s processor can maintain the focus of the image by giving its background a blur effect.

The EVF of the camera uses high-resolution OLED with about 2.36 million dots to reflect a highly accurate resolution of the image. The M5’s five-axis image stabilization feature minimizes shake as the user shoots while moving. The camera can record high clarity videos at Full HD 60p, which is more than double of previous versions. Furthermore, the camera lets the user make adjustments to the image immediately after shooting it, unlike other versions that require one to use a computer.
Users will also enjoy the M5’s high-resolution LCD screen that measures 3.2 inches and can tilt upwards up to 180 degrees and downwards up to 180 degrees. This feature allows users to take creative shots and selfies. Through the Touch and Drag AF function, M5 allows users view the EVF function and make adjustments into the focus areas.

The M5 comes with various connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC. The camera has a maximum standard ISO speed 25,600 and weighs approximately 427 grams.
