The Royal Caribbean Cruise to dock in Boracay this October

(Manila, Philippines) – After visiting Manila, The Royal Caribbean Cruise will dock in Boracay on October 27, 2012, as part of their Asian Cruise itinerary.

According to Aklan officials, The Royal Caribbean Cruise may be exempted from the one-entry, one-exit policy when it arrives here from China in October.

The cruise using their “Legend of the Seas” fleet will be carrying 1,800 foreign tourists and 500 crews. More than 2,000 tourists from all over the world will be on the island for 8 hours before the cruise leaves for Kota Kinabalu on the 27th of October.

Boracay Tourism stakeholders already had a meeting at the Casa Pilar Resort to discuss how they could provide a warm welcome for the incoming large group of tourists.

According to www.cruisetimetables.com, The Royal Caribbean Cruise will proceed to their next destination which is Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia. (source : pna.gov.ph/)
