Cebu City, Philippines — For this year, the best in-flight meal award by Sunstar’s Best of Cebu goes to Santan — AirAsia’s in-flight food brand.

It is because of Santan menu’s variety of food options, including international, vegetarian, as well as Asian dishes.

This award from Sunstar specifically recognizes the best gastronomic experiences and lifestyle brands within the Queen City of the South.

“We are grateful for the accolade given to us by Sunstar. As the best low-cost carrier in the world, we are proud to say that our appetizing in-flight menu offers a delightful dining experience that brings together the diverse flavors of Asean,” said Ricky Isla, the CEO of AirAsia Philippines.

Isla further said that the company will continue to try to satisfy the palates of its guests with dishes that do not need to be expensive.

Customers actually have a wide array of in-flight meals to pick from both through online pre-booking and onboard. For example, customers can choose from sandwiches, desserts, hot meals, and snacks.

Online Pre-booking

As earlier mentioned, guests can choose to buy in-flight meals online. All they have to do is to go to My Bookings on airasia.com. To view the complete menu, they need to access the in-flight meals section on the said website. AirAsia Philippines’ Santan meals are presented in the inflight menu for Z2 flights.

Other perks include a choice of coffee or water as a beverage, a multitude of meals, and priority meal delivery when guests are already onboard.

Just recently, AirAsia also opened the company’s flagship restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — at the Mid Valley Megamall.
