Flat rate applies to all data roaming transactions performed during the day, including Internet browsing, roaming MMS (incoming and outgoing MMS), WAP, Blackberry, email, etc. No special application or process is required to avail of the service. However, since Roaming MMS also rides on the GPRS platform, subscribers who only have a maximum of 2MB usage for the whole day shall be charged for regular Roaming MMS and not the flat-rate GPRS fee.
Notes:
1. The USD10/day unlimited data roaming offer is available to all SMART Postpaid and Infinity subscribers.
2. The offer is applicable for usage of 2MB or beyond. Below 2MB usage shall be charged by volume (in KB).
3. The offer is applicable for one (1) day from 0000H to 2359H. For example, if the roaming subscriber starts his GPRS session/s at 2200H, he only has one hour and 59 minutes (until 2359H) to enjoy the fixed rate of USD10.
4. The offer is applicable across all participating Conexus members. For example, if the roaming subscriber starts a data roaming session in Japan on NTT Docomo, flies to Singapore and uses data roaming on Starhub within the same day, he will only be charged a single rate of USD10.
5. The offer is only limited to participating Conexus operators and other partner networks. If the roaming subscriber logs on to a non-participating operator and performs data roaming transactions, he shall be charged a separate standard volume-based roaming rate following the regular rates of the said non-participating operator. This is why it is important to manually select the partner network in the list above. To manually select a network, follow these steps for Android and iPhone handsets:
