Where to Eat in Makati: Momma’s Boy Urban Dining
San Antonio Village in Makati City is now teeming with new restaurants to satisfy its residents and people from nearby areas. Just recently, a new restaurant has made its presence felt in the village.

Momma’s Boy Urban Dining is a unique dining spot located along the stretch of Sampaloc Avenue in San Antonio Village. The place itself is easy to find, as its gates are flung open in full view of everyone wanting to grab a bite.
Rib Eye Steak
The food is what most people are after, and you will not be disappointed by the choices on the menu.
My partner and I had Seafood Chowder, 200g ribeye steak, and Mom I Like Pasta for dinner earlier. All of them were very yummy and it speaks of a certain comfort while enjoying each food.
Seafood Chowder
The Seafood Chowder was chunky and was really impressive that it was served in a bread bowl, In it you have mussels, squid, potatoes, carrots in a rich, creamy soup. Very comforting and delicious. As for the steak, my partner enjoyed it so much that it was cooked to the right doneness. Medium rare was the request and it was served such.

Mashed Potatoes
The steak was an achievement in itself not only because of the right doneness but because of the mashed potatoes. I was so envious that I ordered one for myself. The serving was like cake with syrup or sauce drizzled richly on top. What made it special was the gravy. I love the fact that it has rosemary in the flavour – the gravy was up one notch on that one. Very tasty.

The overall experience was a delightful one! What tops my reasons for coming back here is that the ambiance is homey and vibrant, most especially that the owners are very friendly and are very hands one around service. I like that so much because their presence on the dining area makes them so approachable and does not separate themselves from the action. I think this feature makes a restaurant survive in this part of business.
Here’s to hoping they will bring more in the days to come as they are on soft opening, so be sure to give some love!
