Metrobank partners with Mastercard in the Priceless Causes initiative, transforming routine transactions into impactful environmental initiatives.

Metrobank and Mastercard turn everyday spend into priceless impact for the planet
To celebrate Philippine Environment Month in June 2026, Metrobank debit and credit Mastercard cardholders can support reforestation through their everyday purchases. On June 30, for every PHP 2,000 spent with a Metrobank Mastercard, one tree will be planted in the cardholder’s name.
The initiative goes beyond Philippine Environment Month, enabling customers to make a difference through their everyday spending. From June 30 to December 31, 2026, Mastercard credit cardholders can exchange their rewards points for environmental efforts, with every 8,000 points redeemed to plant four trees using the Metrobank App and SMS.
Conservation International, a worldwide nonprofit dedicated to enhancing lives through advanced science, innovative policies, and global efforts, oversees and directs all tree-planting initiatives.
“This partnership lets everyday spending do something more meaningful. It’s our way of helping customers not just manage their finances, but also support causes that matter, making impact part of daily life,” said Gail Male, Head of Metrobank Credit Cards, Personal Loans and Digital Channels Group
“We are happy to partner with Metrobank and enable their clients to make a positive impact on the environment. Together with Metrobank, we are turning everyday purchases into opportunities to support reforestation and create lasting impact,” said Jason Crasto, Mastercard Country Manager.
Priceless Causes by Mastercard unites consumers, financial institutions, and organizations to work together on social and environmental objectives. This partnership allows Metrobank customers to participate effortlessly in sustainability initiatives, without altering their regular spending patterns.
By weaving purpose into daily transactions, Metrobank reinforces its commitment to being a trusted partner, helping customers make choices that promote their financial health and support a sustainable future.
Cardholders can easily participate by using their Metrobank debit or credit Mastercard for everyday purchases or by redeeming points via the Metrobank App.
