There were twenty-six food and beverage companies from Spain who came as part of a commercial mission in the country. They displayed various products from their country like meat, olive oil, bread, wine, and chocolates. The event was free admission and limited only to the people of the food industry. It was a fabulous event as many of the companies allowed some free tasting of their food and beverage products making sure guests experience the taste of Spain here in the Philippines. The event also held some seminars for non-alcoholic sparkling juices, chorizo, olive oil, and Jamón Ibérico. The seminars were accessed by guests who pre-registered.

Some of the special guests are the Economic Counselor of the Embassy of Spain, managers, and employees of chosen restaurants and hotels of Manila and the owners of import and distribution companies. The first team-up of La Cámara and FIAB was a success and it was a venue for companies to talk about future business deals which can help the food industry of the country prosper.

The success of the event promises many more events to come in the food and beverage industry featuring foods from Spain. This event also allowed guests to be familiarized with Spanish cuisine and to share that experience to the locals in the coming months.
