My first time visiting Katibawasan Falls in Camiguin Island was not that easy. About 9 years ago, The road leading to the waterfalls was still rough and we had a hard time reaching it. Now that the road was already paved, visiting this stunning waterfalls is now seamless.

Katibawasan Falls in Camiguin Island
Located approximately 5 kilometers from the town of Mambajao, Katibawasan Falls is one of the main attractions in the island of Camiguin. Towards the entrance of this place, we visited some souvenir shops offering various products like sun glasses, swimming suits, T shirts, hats, kiping (a local delicacy) and other refreshments.

By just walking few steps from the gate, we already saw the attractive stream of water dropping from about 250 feet high towards a rock pool bordered by plants, ferns and wild orchids. The waterfall pours down towards a green plunge pool which is quite refreshing where tourists can swim and enjoy the splash of water from the waterfalls.
Kiping Anyone?
The place is also a perfect destination for picnicking, dating, family or friend reunions or pleasure/vacation adventure trips.
