It’s summertime already! Whenever we are talking about vacation spots in the country, one of the places which will immediately come to your mind is Baguio City.
Baguio offers an immediate escape to the bustle of the congested Metro Manila. Also known as the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio is a favorite go-to place during holidays and summer vacations.
Commuting from Manila to Baguio and vice versa is very convenient, thanks to the excellent services of different transportation companies: Victory Liner and Genesis Bus.
Victory Liner buses bound for Baguio can be found at their bus terminals located in Monumento (Caloocan), Cubao (Quezon City), Pasay (EDSA). Meanwhile, Genesis Bus terminals can be found in Avenida and Cubao.

How to Go To Baguio From Manila Via Car or Private Transport
Baguio City can be reached through the main access roads emanating from the province of La Union:
Marcos Highway from Agoo
Kennon Road from Rosario
You can also get to the City of Pines via NLEX-SCTEX
From Manila, take the North Luzon Expressway and drive all the way to Exit 85 then go to the SCTEX.
Drive via SCTEX until Tarlac City Exit and turn left onto a road.
Drive along by following the road signs until you reach MacArthur Highway.
Turn right onto MacArthur Highway then drive through the remaining towns of Pangasinan and Tarlac province (don’t make any turns) until you reach Rosario, La Union.
Turn right at the Rosario Junction to Kennon Road or you can also go a little further (about 500 meters) and turn right to the entrance to Marcos Highway.
Drive all the way to Baguio City.

Travel First Class with JoyBus Premiere Class
If you want to travel in comfort without the need of bringing your car, Genesis Bus is bringing an exciting new way to go to Baguio. Instead of the normal five to six hours of traveling time, JoyBus Premiere Class offers non-stop for four hours traveling time from Genesis Cubao and Pasay City Terminal to Baguio City.
JoyBus Premiere Class is a new addition to the transportation company. Their terminal is located in Cubao, along EDSA and Pasay Rotonda in Pasay City. You can book online or you can also go to the terminal directly to purchase your ticket.
