GCash Customer Service: Ways to Get Help and Support
From the GCash Help Center and Gigi to hotline support and urgent fraud assistance, here’s how to reach GCash when you need help with your account or transactions.
How to Contact GCash Customer Service
GCash has become an essential financial tool for millions of Filipinos, covering everything from mobile payments and bills to money transfers, savings, loans, investments, insurance, and online shopping. But because so much financial activity can happen through the app, knowing how to contact GCash customer service is especially important when something goes wrong.
Whether you have a failed transaction, cannot access your account, have sent money to the wrong number, have lost your phone, or suspect unauthorized activity, GCash provides several customer support channels.
The best starting point is the official GCash Help Center, where users can search for solutions, chat with Gigi, submit support requests, and access the appropriate assistance channel for their concern.
GCash Customer Service Contact Options
Here are the main ways to get help from GCash:
| Support channel | Best for |
|---|---|
| GCash Help Center | General questions, troubleshooting and self-service solutions |
| Gigi | Quick answers and connecting with a support agent |
| GCash Hotline – 2882 | Globe and TM subscribers |
| GCash Hotline – (02) 7213-9999 | Globe landline users |
| Internet call | Users who need to contact support through an internet connection |
| In-app support/ticket | Transaction-specific problems and cases requiring investigation |
GCash currently lists its regular hotline as available daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., while 24/7 support is available for urgent concerns involving scams, fraud, lost or stolen phones, and unauthorized transactions. Globe and TM mobile subscribers can call 2882 toll-free, while Globe landline users can call (02) 7213-9999 toll-free. GCash also provides an internet call option on its Contact Us page.
1. Use the GCash Help Center
For most problems, the GCash Help Center is the most practical place to begin.
Users can search for a particular issue using the GCash feature involved and a few keywords. For example, GCash recommends searches such as “GSave update” or “Bank Transfer failed.”
The Help Center covers major GCash services, including:
- Account and verification
- Send Money
- Cash In
- Bank transfers
- GCash Cards
- Bills payment
- GSave
- GGives
- GCredit
- GLoan
- GInsure
- GFunds
- GStocks PH
- GCrypto
- GLife
- Other GCash features and services
Before contacting an agent, it is worth checking the Help Center, as some issues have specific troubleshooting steps that can resolve them immediately.
2. Chat With Gigi
GCash’s virtual assistant, Gigi, is another way to get help.
Gigi can provide instant information and, when appropriate, connect users with a support agent. This makes it useful for troubleshooting and for navigating the correct support process.
If you are having trouble logging in, for example, GCash recommends using Gigi after you have tried the relevant troubleshooting steps.
When using Gigi or submitting a support request, describe the problem as specifically as possible. Instead of simply saying “my GCash isn’t working,” explain what happened, which service you were using, when the problem occurred, and whether money was deducted.
3. Call the GCash Hotline
For customers who prefer to speak with customer service, GCash offers telephone support.
Globe and TM mobile subscribers
2882
GCash lists 2882 as a toll-free hotline for Globe and TM mobile subscribers.
Globe landline users
(02) 7213-9999
This number is listed by GCash as a toll-free hotline for Globe landline users.
Hotline operating hours
Regular hotline support is currently listed as available daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
However, GCash says it offers 24/7 support for urgent concerns involving scams, fraud, lost or stolen phones, and unauthorized transactions.
If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, do not wait for regular customer-service hours before seeking assistance.
4. Use GCash’s Internet Call Option
GCash also provides an option to call through the internet for users who may not be able to use the regular mobile or landline hotline.
The company says a stable internet connection and an updated device are needed for good call quality. Users may also need to allow microphone access in their browser before the call can begin.
This can be particularly useful for customers calling from a device or network where standard telephone options are inconvenient.
5. Submit a GCash Support Ticket
Some problems cannot be resolved through an automated answer and require an investigation.
In these situations, users can submit a support ticket through GCash’s support process.
A ticket is particularly useful when the issue involves a specific transaction, such as a failed transfer, missing funds, an account issue, or any other concern that requires GCash to review transaction records.
When submitting a ticket, provide accurate information and explain the issue clearly. If applicable, keep your transaction reference number and other relevant details available.
After submitting a request, GCash provides a way to check the status of an existing ticket.
What Information Should You Prepare Before Contacting GCash?
Having the right information ready can make customer-service interactions more efficient.
Depending on the problem, you may need:
- Your registered GCash mobile number
- Date and approximate time of the transaction
- Transaction amount
- Transaction reference number
- Recipient’s GCash number, when relevant
- Merchant or biller information
- Screenshots showing the error or transaction
- Details about what happened before the problem occurred
Only provide information through official GCash support channels.
Most importantly, never give your MPIN or OTP to anyone, including someone claiming to be a GCash representative. GCash explicitly warns users not to share OTPs or MPINs and not to click suspicious links received through SMS or email.
What to Do If You Sent Money to the Wrong Number
Sending money to the wrong GCash account is one situation where acting quickly matters.
GCash says Express Send/Send Money transactions are processed in real time, so customers should carefully check transaction details before confirming a transfer. GCash can reverse a transaction only in certain circumstances, such as when the receiving account is inactive or not in use.
If you sent money to the wrong person, GCash recommends contacting the recipient and asking them to return the money.
If you sent money to an old or inactive number, you can contact support through the app and provide the transaction details. GCash says such refunds are handled on a best-effort basis and that customers can expect an update within 1–3 business days for this type of request.
What to Do If You Suspect Fraud or an Unauthorized Transaction
Financial security concerns should be treated differently from ordinary app problems.
If you notice a transaction you did not authorize, suspect fraud, or have lost your phone, contact GCash immediately through its official support channels.
GCash specifically identifies scams, fraud, lost or stolen phones, and unauthorized transactions as urgent concerns eligible for 24/7 support.
Do not attempt to resolve a suspected scam by communicating with an unknown person through social media or by following links sent to you.
Instead, use the official GCash Help Center and support channels.
Check GCash Service Advisories Before Contacting Support
Sometimes a GCash feature may be experiencing a system-wide problem rather than an issue with your individual account.
The GCash Help Center has a Service Status & Advisories section where customers can check for reported service interruptions. At the time of checking, GCash reported that its services were operating normally.
Checking service status first can save time if the problem is already known and being addressed.
Beware of Fake GCash Customer-Service Accounts
Because GCash handles money, scammers may impersonate customer-service representatives.
A supposed “GCash agent” who asks for your OTP, MPIN, password, or other security credentials should immediately raise a red flag.
GCash warns users not to share their OTP or MPIN and not to click links received through SMS or email.
For support, stick to GCash’s official Help Center, in-app support features, and published hotline options.
Also, be careful with social media posts offering to “fix” an account in exchange for personal information or payment. A legitimate customer-service representative should not need your MPIN or OTP to access your money.
Tips for Getting Faster Help From GCash
When contacting customer service, a clear explanation can help the support team understand the problem.
Instead of writing:
“My money is missing.”
Give relevant details such as:
“I transferred PHP 2,000 on August 25 at approximately 3:15 p.m. The amount was deducted from my GCash wallet, but the recipient has not received it. My transaction reference number is available.”
Also:
- Check the Help Center for the specific GCash service involved.
- Check Service Status & Advisories for known outages.
- Keep your transaction reference number.
- Take screenshots of relevant error messages.
- Use the appropriate support category when submitting a ticket.
- Keep your ticket number for follow-ups.
- Never disclose your OTP or MPIN.
- Contact GCash immediately if you suspect fraud.
