Hotel Review: Central Park Tower Resort in Angeles City

Central Park Tower Resort Review

Being famous for its red light district will give one an assumption that Angeles City lacks classy hotels and fine accommodation. Well, I guess for some, including me. I even thought we’ll be staying in an average hotel while scouting the streets of the city trying to find our hotel, due to the long stretch of budget hostels and inns we passed by. Not that I’m picky when it comes to hotels. Staying in a backpacker type of accommodation is common to me, but when there’s very limited time to explore a place, going home to a comfy and classy hotel means a lot. Upon entering the doors of Central Park Tower Resort (hotel info), I was proven wrong. The elegant touch that exudes in the hotel lobby gave a hint of the quality of stay we’re about to experience here.

One of the factors that people look into when booking an accommodation is its location. It’s not really a problem when you stay at Central Park Tower Resort since it’s centrally situated in the heart of the city’s famous entertainment district. The hotel is a short walk to most of the bars and nightclubs in the area. It also has an amazing view of Angeles city at the rooftop.

All exceptional hotels have one thing in common: value for money rooms. Central Park Tower Resort (check rates) may not be an excellent choice when you’re on a tight budget, but sometimes it pays to shell out some money for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The rooms come complete with plush beds and sofas, writing desks and rolling chairs (which I find super comfy), walk in showers, flat screen LED TVs and a touch of elegance.

Facilities & Amenities

The limited ground space didn’t hinder Central Park Tower Resort (discounted rates) from offering a comprehensive list of amenities and services. First off, there’s free high-speed wireless internet, which is usually needed for work or leisure. For your dining needs, they have a cafe at the lobby and rooftop indoor and outdoor restaurants. There’s also an infinity swimming pool at the rooftop and a fitness room for your recreational needs.

Overall Experience

A stay at Central Park Tower Resort (book now via Agoda) gives one the perfect combination of ideal location, outstanding accommodation, attentive service and excellent experience. The only downside of it was they only provide one room access card, so when your roommate is out, it’s either you wait for her ‘til she gets back or have a staff member assist her in opening the door – which happened to us. It’s no biggie though. I’d say it’s still a staycation worth trying and offers value for money.
