Villa Conzoilo Farm: Showcasing Best Sustainable Farming Practices
(Jaro, Leyte, Philippines) Villa Conzoilo Farm is situated 600 meters above sea level in Barangay Villaconzoilo in Jaro, Leyte. It is 7 kilometers from the town proper and 48 kilometers from Tacloban City. The best time to visit is during the summer but the ‘Ber’ months are the times when you can go strawberry picking. The tour also lets you ride a tractor and get entertained by local musicians.

Entrance fee, guided tours, welcomes, rabbit feeding, fishing and snacks and drinks are included in that package. The farm implements strict rules for garbage disposal and the smoking ban. They also prohibit picking of fruits and vegetables but you can ask nicely and they might just let you. Sometimes the farm holds a fair and sells their harvest of vegetables, condiments, and other food preparations.

How to get there
Catch a plane ride to Tacloban City via Cebu Pacific then hop on a jeep to Jaro, Leyte. Barangay Villa Conzoilo is in Jaro and from there you can take a motorcycle ride to the farm. For a group of ten, free van transfers to and from the farm are available.
