Finca Verde Organic Sanctuary in Nabaoy Aklan
Hidden within the quaint Nabaoy town, where fresh river runs through, is a fertile sanctuary dedicated to every in-dweller of nature.

Finca Verde, as this riverside place is called, is a nature resort in the midst of a flourishing farm, a few minutes tricycle ride away from Caticlan airport.
This immense greenery has an alluring landscape of organic tropical plants, comprising ornamental, edible and medicinal, as well as farm animals that graze freely within the lush property.
In the center of this lushness are three bamboo cottages that have been well-crafted to endow guests with a home that is breathing with sheer elegance, comfort and class, where the rising sounds of friendly night creatures highlight a well-deserved slumber.
Every cottage is carefully built with a cozy living area that is furnished with a plush queen-size bed, a modern bathroom with hot and cold shower, and the fresh natural breeze for ventilation. Added to this tranquil abode is a spacious veranda that sets the mood for an intimate connection with nature.
As the sobering air of the river sets in, special areas for sense-awakening pleasure are set to arise the energy of the ones dwelling within.
Facing the botanical garden and the river is an open pavilion devoted to seminars, as well as spiritual, mental and physical disciplines, such as Yoga, Tai-Chi, Qui-Gong, Pilates, and Meditation.
Families with children are afforded with maximum quality time due to the interesting activities on hand.
There is a wooden house/playground and a dome climber, aside from the farm’s many natural points of interest.
Kids of all ages can get something educational and fun out of, like swimming in the river, water tubing with a guide, petting the farm animals including ducks, geese, chickens, cows and goats, getting acquainted with the farm’s diverse plants, cultivating crops at the organic garden, and for older kids and adults, a guided trek for a whole day to the adventure-filled Agnaga Falls.
As nourishment, a sumptuous mid-day meal prepared with farm-grown ingredients like local vegetables and duck seasoned with aromatic herbs and spices, courtesy of the resident chef and Boracay’s own Dos Mestizos Spanish Restaurant founder Binggoy Remedios.
Finca Verde is clearly a nature lover’s paradise where one can completely surrender to the wondrous beauty of life’s bounties.
