Experience Leveled-Up Entertainment at Ayala Malls Manila Bay
Manila, Philippines — Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Ayala Land Inc.’s biggest mall development so far, had just opened to the public recently, yet it already packed a couple of surprises including the unveiling of a 427-seater A-Giant Screen cinema, as well as myCinema, a private cinema for corporate events and private occasions.
Team Out of Town was invited to experience first-hand what Ayala Malls Manila Bay meant with “amped-up movie experience,” as it hosted the much-awaited premiere of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil on October 14, right before its regular Philippine showing on October 16.
Boasting of better images and surround sound features, the large screen is a treat for those who want to fully immerse in the movie they are watching.
The butlers here are attentive, too, and if you’re feeling hungry before the screening, there’s a bunch of stalls selling a variety of snacks conveniently located just outside the cinema lobby. There’s also The Movie Snackbar, which offers favorite cinema companions such as Chef Tony’s Popcorn, nachos, and hotdogs along with cold beverages of choice.
In honor of Halloween season, horror fans can also watch well-crafted fright flicks for P200 at the Asian Horror Film Festival scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays starting October 11 to November 1 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay Cinema 9. There are currently 10 cinemas that are open in the mall property.
Located in the Aseana City township development, close to PAGCOR’s Entertainment City and archrival mall SM Mall of Asia, the mall also features a 1-hectare Central Garden, spaces for retail and dining, as well as office and hotel developments.
To complete the entertainment experience is the Timezone arcade, the biggest Timezone venue in the country, with different zones such as the Play ‘N Learn kiddie indoor playground, a Billiards Hall, a short-lane Bowling Alley, Music Zones for some videoke vocalizing, and a Prize Shop that lets customers walk-through the redemption area to pick out their own prize preferences.
