Columbus is a consolidated city-county that lies directly across Phenix City, Alabama, on the other side of the Chattahoochee River. As one of the last trading posts from the 1700s, Columbus is one of the few cities planned before its founding. At present, it is best known for waterside activities and landmarks, the picturesque opera houses, and the manmade buildings that are remnants from the past. We’ve already done the dirty work for you and found the 7 best Airbnbs in Columbus, Georgia.

This cottage is super cute, and the hosts are super responsive! This cottage was what we expected it to be, and it was in a great location. Restaurants all over nearby and not far from the hiking area we went to! The linens and everything were clean and fresh, however, the Queen sofa pull-out bed was disappointing. It was not a pull-out bed, but more of an extension of the couch itself with added cushions, so it was very uncomfortable. Overall a great stay and an awesome place! – Mary
