Trinoma Merry Musical Lights Show
On its second year, Trinoma launches the sparkling Merry Musical Lights Show, an eight-minute extravaganza of music, lights, and dining experiences. Set up at the Garden Restaurants section of Trinoma, the Merry Musical Lights Show promises to be the annual Christmas season attraction that it has already become. The organizers were ecstatic in sharing that the Merry Musical Lights Show is back because of popular demand, it’s certainly something to look forward to and enjoy with the family in this season of shopping and fun!

The Merry Musical Light Show was launched last November 9, 2013 with spectacular performances from the inimitable Nikki Gil and the soaring voices of the UP Concert Chorus. The event was rightly celebrated with heart-warming Christmas carols performed perfectly as only an award-winning group of vocal performers can.

The UP Concert Chorus took to the stage in Trinoma with as little fanfare as possible, letting the sound of their voices do the work of representing their rich musical history that have seen them take to the stage at New York’s Lincoln Center International Choral Festival and with such stellar musical icons as Ryan Cayabyab. Nikki Gil was incredible and beautiful.
Ms. Gil is certainly one of the rare talents that you could watch and listen to tirelessly because of her natural talent for music and ability to connect with each individual in the crowd. It’s hard to imagine anybody else that would have made a better choice to host the launch of Trinoma’s Merry Musical Lights Show.
It was a night filled with talent and warmth that flowed from the perfect voices accompanying the rhythms and explosion of light and sound that had both the young and old in the audience enthralled and captivated. The event began with a song from the UP Concert Chorus as the lights in the Garden Restaurant area of Trinoma started to dim.
Slowly, the hall started to sparkle with a wall of lights that seemed to cascade from every inch of the balconies and pillars that surrounded the Garden Restaurant area. It lasted for only eight minutes, but for us in the middle of the celebration, the singing and the lights, it was as though we’ve already celebrated Christmas in those few minutes of joy and music.
People sighed as children danced as gilded confetti rained down on everyone who were lucky enough to experience the launch of Trinoma’s 2013 Merry Musical Lights Show. It’s something definitely worth watching this holiday season, at the end of a long day of shopping or while enjoying a wonderful dinner at the Garden Restaurants area of Trinoma, sit back, relax, and let the music and the lights carry you into the festive season of Christmas!
