We are now currently staying here at White Rock Resort in Subic and our first itinerary today will be an early morning breakfast in Lighthouse Marina Resort.
Lighthouse Marina Resort Subic
Our huge bags and countless souvenirs from tourism offices from different towns and cities were back in the Victory Liner Bus aka Freezer:) and after our huge breakfast, we were invited to join Rotary Club Members on their Subic Beach Clean Up drive together with the Miss Earth Beauties.
High Protein Breakfast @ Lighthouse Marina Resort Hotel
During the clean up drive, we pretty much didn’t do anything but to take photos with the Miss Earth Beauties and who else? Its Jollibee!!! Right after having crazy photos with the famous mascot, we found ourselves waiting in the port for our Subic Bay Cruise.
Miss Earth Winners 2010 @ the Coastal Clean Up
We waited for about an hour till we finally get boarded in a small coast guard type service craft. Nobody cared about the direct sunlight kissing our already sun-kissed skin, everyone wants to be in the front view deck as if we were all shouting “I’m the king of the world”. It took us almost an hour as we toured the bay passing some manufacturing industries around the bay including Hanjin – A South Korean shipping company operating cargo vessels of all types all over the world..
Subic Bay Cruise
The Bay cruise was all about the sun, the sea, the mountains and the smiling faces in front of our cameras. We went back to the beautiful Lighthouse Marina Hotel for our lunch and to greet Cha Fernandez (CVB Operations and Events Manager) a very Happy Birthday!!
Happy Birthday Cha Fernandez
Everyone was fully loaded (as usual) after our lunch, Good thing we did a little bit of walking as we roamed around Subic Free Port to have some duty free shopping and to checkout Adidas Outlet offering discounted prices.
Lunch at Lighthouse Marina
We also visited Mountain Woods Resort Hotel – A very relaxing resort serenely nestled on a hill providing a breathtaking view of the well preserved Subic rain forest.
Mountain Woods Resort Hotel
Our next stop was in Tarlac, we visited Hacienda Luicita and the Aquino Center. The Aquino Center is a beautiful architecture designed by famous architect and national artist Francisco Mañosa.
Mountain Woods Resort Hotel Pool
The Aquino Center was constructed in Tarlac to serve as the official museum of the Aquino Family. Inside the Museum, we had a walking tour and a short film showing about the death of the late Senator Ninoy Aquino, The People Power revolution, to the presidency of President Cory Aquino, and much more.
Crispy Pata @ Red Crab Restaurant
Our next stop was in Microtel in Tarlac also located in Hacienda Luicita. Norsan Barilea – The Marketing and Communications Manager of Microtel Pilipinas showed to us the rooms and gave us a short background about Microtel operations in the Philippines.
Sunset in Holiday Inn Clark
After Tarlac was another road trip, this time to Holiday Inn to check in, freshen up and have a welcome snacks with the Holiday Inn’s Marketing and Communications Manager. We had a short tour of the hotel’s in-house restaurants, facilities and amenities.
Thank You!! Holiday Inn Clark Pampanga
Everyone decided to just walk towards Red Crab – Our host for 6th dinner for the entire trip. Aside from the Spicy Crab, I like their Crispy Pata and the steamed fish which complemented well with the vegetable dish.
Center for Kampampangan Studies
Right after that huge meal, we headed to the Holy Angels University in Angeles to visit the Center for Kampampangan Studies – a small museum showcasing Kampampangan’s colorful history.
Camalig Restaurant
Our last stop was a visit to Camalig Restaurant for yet another food trip. Camalig is a Kapampangan restaurant that became popular for their unique local Pizza flavors.
Uniquely Pinoy Pizza @ Camalig Restaurant
Its kinda weird at first taste but I liked it afterwards….. but of course it is best if paired with iced cold beer:)
We will be staying overnight here in Holiday Inn at Clark Pampanga to rest and prepare for another day of fun-filled activity… Goodnight Everyone:)
