It fronts and serves as a gateway to Lamon Bay, just 40.2 kilometers off the eastern coast of Luzon. Balesin Island’s length is about 5 kilometers, while its maximum width is about 1.5 kilometers. Generally, it is an almost plain area with just a few high areas like cliffs which tower to a height of 5 meters above sea level.
