The O Hotel Bacolod – Hotels in Bacolod City
Never fear, Here are the top five hotels to stay in in Bacolod City. Depending on what you are looking for, the following five hotels should be able to provide what you need.
The O Hotel is the favorite for those looking for world class service and luxury. You will find an incredible staff ready to serve you in beautiful rooms that go way beyond comfort and border on opulent elegance. Then, to top it off – they have some of the best desserts you will find anywhere on Negros.

The Palmas del Mar is another favorite with those who like to enjoy a bit of the rich life. The key is to go during the low season because you can stay here at a considerable discount. One of the cool things about this place is that they don’t just have a pool…they have many pools. Pick the one that suits you or spend the day pool-hopping. The rooms are new and very nice and since it is near the city center you can easily get out to explore Bacolod once you are done swimming.
We almost always pay a visit or stay overnight at palmas del mar whenever we can. They have off-season prices that make it affordable and they have new hotel rooms as well. My favorite thing is that they have many swimming pools to choose from. If you are checked in, you get to enjoy more privacy and lesser people in two swimming pools close to the rooms. Room Tip: its right within the city so you can get there by jeep or by taxi. the road, though, tends to get crowded during peak hours (like after office) because of residential areas nearby, and there is only one road to get to palmas.

Another central hotel in Bacolod is The Sylvia Manor. Right in the center of town and easily accessible from the SM, the park, or the festival areas. While the small rooms are your best bet for a tight budget, you can find much bigger rooms for just a small upgrade. The breakfast here is standard Filipino fare and a great way to start your day. While this isn’t a very fancy hotel, the staff will treat you like you are staying at the Ritz.
Circle Inn is a nice budget option. For a very reasonable rate you get the standard bed, cable TV, air conditioning, and hot and cold running water shower. The downside is that rooms aren’t sound proof and the food is pretty basic – in fact, I would recommend that if you stay there, bring your earplugs and eat somewhere else. It’s clean and has a friendly staff though and the price is definitely right.

Finally, the MO2 Westown Hotel. This is the newest of the hotels I’ve listed here and I think it has the potential to be really great. With big rooms and some great promotional pricing, you can’t really go wrong. One good thing to remember is to request an upper floor room since the disco on the ground floor can be a bit on the loud side. Other than that – enjoy!
