Quezon Avenue Underpass soon to open

Wondering why the traffic is heavy each time you pass Quezon Avenue and Araneta Avenue intersection? An underpass was constructed by DPWH and the said of the underpass along Quezon Avenue crossing C-3 Road (G. Araneta Avenue) may be completed ahead of its September 2012 target completion date.

The northbound and southbound lanes of the Quezon Ave. underpass in Quezon City is almost 75 percent complete as of July 28, 2012. The four-lane underpass, part of the Quezon Ave.-Araneta Ave. interchange project, is expected to be completed by August, according to Cesar del Prado, the contractor’s safety and traffic engineer.
