Cebu Pacific launches Cashalo, a fly now pay later options for Filipino travelers

There has been an increase in number and about 30 million people visiting Asian countries such as Hongkong, Singapore, and Japan, and among those travelers are Filipinos who wanted to have their memorable vacation that’s not too far from home. However, most travelers are constrained from booking low fares because it’s either of the resources and that almost 70% of Filipinos still don’t own a credit card – but Cebu Pacific has solutions to that.

No Credit Card? No Problem?

Cebu Pacific announces expanding their payment options to cater to the needs and preferences of a wide variety of customers.

Bookings made via the Cebu Pacific website or mobile app can be secured through other channels. Payments must be made within 24 hours. You may opt to pay over-the-counter via the Customer Service counters at all Robinsons and SM department stores; the bills payment counters SM and Savemore supermarkets; Bayad Centers, Cebuana Lhuillier, ECPay and LBC branches nationwide; and at 7-Eleven branches.

BDO, BPI, Metrobank and Robinsons Bank all accept over-the-counter payments for Cebu Pacific bookings. The same banks can also accept payments via their online or mobile banking portals. BancNet and Megalink also accept Cebu Pacific payments. Online transactions must be made by 11:59pm of the same day tickets were booked.

Cashalo

If you still don’t have a credit card and the current cash to have that much-needed RnR, then Cashalo might just be the answer you’ve been waiting for.

How to use Cashalo

  • Online payment is done via Cashalo. Proceed to the “Pay with Cashalo” option on the payments tab then download the Cashalo app.
  • Sign up and apply for a quick loan. Loan settlements can be done in easy-to-pay installments within three or six months.
  • Afterwards, you will be notified via email, SMS, or in-app within four hours of your application.
