Filipinos to enjoy direct flight from Manila to Morocco soon
Manila, Philippines — Flying to Morocco, one of the most exciting destinations in the world is now made possible, with a direct flight from Manila. Better start planning the adventure trip and check out the popular attractions in Morocco, known for its picture-perfect mountain ranges, ancient cities, and vast deserts.

It’s not only direct flight everyone is raving about, as the country is also visa-free for Philippine passport holders – thanks to a deal between the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the North African country.
Through a Memorandum of Understanding – as an initial step of the agreement with the Kingdom of Morocco – full traffic rights for both passenger and cargo have been approved for both countries. This also means that daily flights between the two nations are now possible.

This deal is said to increase the number in tourism and people exchanges between the two countries when the discussions are finalized. According to a statement by the DOTr, it will also boost the economic and social relations, and that a Philippine embassy in Morocco is also set to be established in 2020.
What to do in Morocco
A lot of international tourists have considered, or perhaps, visited Morocco for quite a while now, and more than the surprising attraction and activities, it was the hospitality of the locals that made their trip even more memorable.

While other countries offer tropical vibes and shopping haven for most tourists, Morocco begs to differ, with their great weather, rich culture and diversity, affordable souvenirs, ancient attractions, and Tajine, their local version of mixed vegetables mixed with whatever meat you wish.
Some of the places you might want to check out include the Essaouira, the famous blue-washed buildings ar Chefchaouen, and the popular Ouarzazate used as a filming location for movies like The Mummy and Prince of Persia.
One of the best activities to do here in Camel Trekking at Sahara and visiting the twisting alleys of Fez.

Best Time to Visit
Since Morocco is a Muslim country, it’s best to take note of their holidays, as some of the stores and establishments are closed. However, if you’re into the great weather, the best time to visit would be from November to March, but take note that during these times, prices are higher than usual.
