Yiren Shen, Global Vice President and China President of OPPO stated that their company is pushing all their limits to further take flash charging to a new level. They’re always committed and always working on how they can improve the technology for the benefit of their consumers. He said that VOOC Flash Charge is now powering more than 100 million devices all over the world. According to him, the company wants to share the power of this technology so more can use it. He thanked their first licensing partners for sharing their commitment and support of OPPO.

OPPO is set to license VOOC Flash Charge to their industry partners under a ‘fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory basis’. There are six authorized partners who will cultivate, manufacture and sell chips and accessories with VOOC Flash Charge feature. OPPO aims to serve more customers that’s why they will eventually add more partners for their VOOC Flash Charge.

VOOC Flash Charge technology has been an important part of OPPO since 2014. The company is putting all their efforts to the research and development of this technology that now has more than 1000 core patents around the world and they plan to take it to the next level. Aside from VOOC Flash Charge, Super VOOC Flash Charge is another innovation from OPPO. It is used in their new flagship Smartphone, Find X with 50W speeds to charge fully in 35 minutes. This technology was first announced at Mobile World Congress 2016.

SuperVOOC is the embodiment of innovation in software and hardware technology and it’s the industry’s first flash charging system that is both efficient in charging and discharging. It has a serial bi-cell battery, 3C specification cells and VFC algorithm which make charging faster. It also has a five-core protection which includes military-grade customized devices and smart chips which allows fast, safe and reliable charging.

The company has strict criteria to meet to give the certification for safety. 1,000 tests are included in the assessment. 600 battery life tests and 10,000 hotplug tests are also included in the assessment. Positive test result means it passed the standard of safety.

OPPO is the leading Smartphone brand today and they aim to continue providing their consumers with the best technology they can offer. The expansion of licensing of VOOC Flash Charge will pave the way for the company and their industry partners to let more users enjoy the technology.
