Love conquered the festivities at the Zoocobia Fun Zoo in Clark, Pampanga.
The event, called “Love is in the Air”, which coincides with the International Hot Air Balloon Festival yearly featured a ton of activities and amazing surprises for everyone.
Couples, families and friends joined in the festivities at 3 pm with a tour around the zoo’s cobble stoned path. This wild safari-inspired tour began at the Zoocology Museum, to the aviary, the ostrich field, exotic animals on display, monkeys that you could feed, the fun grassy maze, then up to the bunny barn and down to a curvy ride on the exhilarating car sled ride. This leads to a mini Aeta town, a petting barn for camels, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, Wagyu cow, and more mammals.
At the end of this tour is a kiddie playground, adventure rides and long colourful slides that connect to the restaurant.
A dinner buffet off fresh salad, dumplings, meat patties, fruits and dessert were laid out promptly for the visitors, while the usual Western food favours like burgers, fries, sandwiches, and Filipino style pizza and spaghetti were available on the menu.
The lights went out after dinner to highlight the event’s spectacular Night Owl Show.
The show featured Animals on Parade, the Aeta’s Tribal Show, which simulated the tribe’s traditions and dance rituals, and a Neon Show presenting the country’s famous animals and the park’s LED dancers.
The event finale gathered everyone to the hilly field for the Sky Lantern Flight.
Each one lit up their lantern and made a wish, as it took its dramatic flight to a vision of glowing wishes illuminating the pitch dark sky.
The highlight of the event was the genuine smiles of the warm and friendly Aetas who make up the labor force of the place…and the bugs that bit an infectious love in everyone.
Zoocobia Fun Zoo is operated by the Zoomanity Group. It’s open daily from 8 am to 5 pm.
