Starbucks Philippines Set To Release Island Series Collection
MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Starbucks Philippines sure knows how to treat their loyal customers! In remembrance of the 120th Independence Day of the country, the coffee shop present in almost every corner of the Metro is set to release the “Island Series Collection” which will be available on June 12.
The Island Series Collection mugs and cards are influenced by the three island groups of the country namely Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The colors and symbols of the Philippines’ three island groups are the inspiration of the design.
To start off, The Luzon mug comes in a matte vibrant blue color highlighted with gold foil with the illustration of the city skyline to represent Metro Manila’s bustling business districts.
Visayas mug, on the other hand, is inspired by the beaches of the island group. The design is a beautiful debossed art Sampaguita flowers and coconut palm trees also accentuated by gold foil in a rather earthy background.
Lastly, the Mindanao mug comes in a deep red shade with the iconic Vinta boat of Zamboanga and sails in mesmerizing decal.
Each of the 16-ounce ceramic mugs comes in a collector’s box. The mugs are priced at Php995 each. It features the Starbucks logo laser engraved on the side of the mug. Each of the mugs also comes with corresponding Starbucks card which you can have activated for an initial amount of Php500.
It’s exciting to collect all three but there’s a catch. You’ll have to buy each mug in each island group if you want to collect them all. The Luzon mug will be available only in Luzon stores and same goes with Visayas mug which is available only in Visayas and Mindanao which you can buy only from that part of the country. This collection is also available in select Airport Stores.
