For the uninitiated, Eater is a go-to site for those who wish to know what’s new in the dining scene in different areas of the United States, such as New York, Las Vegas, Chicago and San Francisco. The publication is pushing out the Eater Heatmap in a monthly basis, giving readers ideas about the newest, most famous places to dine-in.

Jollibee Skokie

Located in Skokie, Illinois, the restaurant currently goes head-to-head with other popular eating places in this part of the globe, including Roister, Giant along Logan Square and Lena Brava, a restaurant seated in Randolph Street.

Jollibee is now known in the place as the “fast food phenomenon that had drawn a throng of joyous fans just north of the border.”

Eater specifically praised Jollibee’s Jolly Spaghetti, Yamburger and Chickenjoy.

Opened Last July

The Skokie branch of Jollibee initially started to operate on July 29. Up to now, Jollibee Skokie is continuously gaining grounds – in fact, it is consistently receiving lots of good reviews not just from the Filipino community but from Americans as well.

It is now nearly two months since it first opened its doors, but until now, this Jollibee branch continues to see long queues of a lot of foodies who wish to have a taste of various Jollibee meals. And, yes, Eater’s recommendation is just one validation of the brand’s popularity in Chicago.

“[T]he smiles we encountered reminded us of the joy that Jollibee brings,” he said. “It also makes us proud to see a Filipino brand being recognized globally.”
