Puerto Galera Travel Requirements

To gain entry, fully vaccinated tourists need to present their vaccination cards. For non-vaccinated individuals, a negative RT-PCR or antigen test result is required. Free antigen test is also available for tourists in Batangas Port.

Best Time to Visit

The Peak Season in Puerto Galera usually occurs during the months of April and May. These are times when you should consider booking in advance because accommodation room prices tend to increase substantially due to high demand.

November to March is the High Season and usually peaks during the holiday season for Christmas and New Year celebrations.

The Low Season happens during the months of June to October as these are the usual time for the rainy season.

Climate in Puerto Galera

Puerto Galera has a tropical climate with relatively high humidity, mild temperature, and gentle winds. It also has three (3) distinct seasons that you should know: Wet/Rainy Season from June to October, Cool/Dry Season from November to February, and Hot/Dry Season from March to May.

Getting There

Infinity Resort Puerto Galera offers private transfers from the airport or private residence in Metro Manila at PHP 4,000.00 to 5,000.00 per way (depending on the distance from Batangas Pier).

Using your private vehicle from Manila or Makati, drive to Batangas Pier via South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and Star Tollway for 1 to 1.5 hours.

From Balatero Port, turn right to the main highway at the exit. Just follow the main highway past White Beach to get to the resort.

I stayed at the Malasimo Premiere room with 1 Super King Size Bed, Private Bath w/ Shower Enclosure, and Hydro Jet Tub, ACU, 32′ LCD cable TV with DVD player, Mini Bar, Room Safe, and Intercom.
