About Iloilo City:
Iloilo‘s biggest year-round attraction is La Paz Batchoy, a noodle soup made from beef and pork broth mixed with assorted organs, crisp pork skin, and fresh seafood. The city is home to a lot of Spanish-colonial churches, old commercial and institutional buildings, and grand vintage houses.
The Iloilo Dinagyang Festival is one of the biggest religious and cultural festivals in the Philippines. It is equally as exciting as Jaro Fiesta, Para Regatta Festival, and the Chinese New Year.
Pristine beaches can be seen in Northern Iloilo where the most visited islands of Ajuy, Concepcion, Gigantes Islands, and Sicogon can be found. Meanwhile, the southern coast of Iloilo offers a sight of the well-preserved marine sanctuaries and sand beaches of Iloilo.
