The flights will only take about an hour. This is much easier than the land and ferry trips which take eight hours. The flights will depart from NAIA Terminal 4 in Pasay City, Metro Manila.

The biggest advantage of flying with Cebu Pacific to go Marinduque is the cut in travel time. Whereas before, passengers have to wait 8 hours to visit the marvels of the province, the budget airline now lets everyone get additional hours for nature tripping and other activities.

This cave system features 7 caves though tourists can only visit 4. The names of these 4 caves are Church, Python, Secret, and Cemetery. They got their names from their unique characteristics. The stalactites and stalagmites of Church Cave give the illusion of a church. Python Cave got its name from the resident pythons on the walls. Cemetery Cave houses human bones. Lastly, Secret Cave has a ‘secret’ exit hole.

Boac Cathedral

This is ‘the oldest church in Marinduque’. It was built in the 18th century and has a Filipino-Hispanic Gothic Design. The well-preserved facade is prominent due to its terracotta material. Adobe stones make up the bell tower. It’s also a church full of history as the blessing of the Philippine Revolutionary Flag happened there on 1899.
