Buccament Bay Resort Review – Part 2

Buccament Bay Resort: A Quick Tour

Read Part 1: Buccament Bay Resort and the Promise of a Tropical Paradise Experience

In this 2nd part of my review, I would like to give you a small tour of Buccament Bay (resort info) and a preview of what awaits you when you decide to visit this surreal-looking gem of the island of St. Vincent. The property is so huge that I don’t really know where to start.

I didn't want to leave.
I didn’t want to leave.

So, to help you picture the resort better, I decided to divide the property into 3 parts: the village, the bars and restaurants, and the beach area.

The Village

Buccament Bay (Resort Rates) is not your typical resort hotel. It comes in a stunning village-style setting, cradled in vibrant rainforest-cloaked mountains and amazing natural landscapes.

We stayed in a one-bedroom Garden Villa that has its own spacious living room, a mini bar with espresso machine and a private deck with a plunge pool, which I think is one of the greatest selling points of the resort.

Though the living room is not air-conditioned, it wasn’t a problem to us at all. The high-vaulted ceiling makes the place well-ventilated.

The bathroom has a power shower, which can make your showering experience more invigorating and relaxing. The bathroom also has clean towels, bathrobes, shower cap, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer. However, unlike other hotels I’ve been to, some essential bathroom products are not provided such as toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, cotton buds and mouthwash.

The Bars and the Restaurants

Basically, this part of the resort is where all the actions happen; parties, entertainment, dining, swimming, and sunbathing.

This area offers different types of dining experiences, from signature drinks, pastries and various cuisines from around the world. Starting off with HQ, which is the official coffee shop of the resort. Aside from coffee and tea, they also serve delightful treats like pastries, cakes, ice cream, crepes, sandwiches, freshly-squeezed juices and smoothies.

Also, located in this charming beachfront setting is The Bay Beach Club. It offers casual dining experience for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Aside from international cuisine, they also serve delicious cocktails to highlight your beach experience. However, since this is an open dining area, mosquitoes and flies are a given but it’s not really a problem because all the foods are well-covered.

While the rest are busy sunbathing, I'm here in HQ, getting my coffee chiller.

And lastly, offering only fine dining experience is my favorite, Jack’s Steakhouse. They serve delectable seafood, succulent prime steaks at its finest and mouthwatering desserts. All guests are also requested to observe proper dress code.

The Beach

The turquoise sea looks very inviting by day and it’s even more enticing at night. It’s also very peaceful and romantic to watch the sunset on this area of the resort.
