Location
Ferrol is a small town on Tablas Island in the province of Romblon. It is a seaside destination with a tropical climate and a beautiful white sand beach. With a population of a few thousand, it offers a secluded and breathtaking view of the sea and the sunset.
Rooms
I stayed in one of their Octagon Cottages for a night during our Romblon trip last April, and I was thrilled with my experience. The cottage was just a few steps away from the crystal clear waters of the bay, and the room was huge with a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom, and a beautiful balcony.
With their Oceanfront cottages, you can immerse completely in these resorts’ vast and limitless oceanic views. They have luxurious and lavish Balinese-designed cottages, and all of them are non-airconditioned. I don’t mind staying in a non-airconditioned room, especially in places like these. The absence of air conditioning will give you a feel of the days when there were no technologies, just simple and serene living. You’ll forget the rush in your own small world.

If you want to try the exotic local cuisines, you’ll be spoilt for choice. If you want to play safe, you’ll definitely find your tried-and-tested menu since the resort also offers international cuisine.

How To Reach Ferrol Romblon from Manila or from Batangas Port
Alternatively, intermittent ferries from Pier 12 in Manila or the widely known Batangas port exist. If you take the Odiongan route, it is a 6-hour journey from Batangas port.
Once you’ve reached Tablas, it’s a 45-minute drive to Ferrol. Motorcycles are also available for hire for this route.
Plan a vacation by the sides of the water expanse. You’ll get drowned in bliss!
