MarQuee Mall will be holding its first Northern Food Festival from October 18-20, 2013 at the MarQuee Park in Angeles City Pampanga.

Opened in 2009, MarQuee Mall is Angeles City’s shopping, dining and entertainment destination. Located just by the NLEX exit, the mall has quickly become the top shopping and leisure complex in the area with over 400 shops, exclusive boutiques, restaurants and cinemas.
Big Bite Food Market will be participated by over a hundred vendors from Pampanga, Metro Manila, Baguio, Bataan, Bulacan, Cagayan, Ilocos, La Union, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pangasinan and Zambales. With the huge support from various food sector, this event was dubbed as the biggest and grandest culinary event of Luzon for 2013.

Within this 3 days celebration, foodies will enjoy all the great offerings from all these provinces in just one stop. Apart from the food fair, Big Bite! will be hosting a number of exciting events like cooking demos, a cooking competition amongst culinary schools, the best heirloom recipe contest, food eating contests, food sampling and so much more.
Some of the vendors will be selling native and traditional delicacies which includes fresh produce, cooked food and other baked goodies.
Nathaniels Buko Pandan
By attending the event, you will get a chance to meet some of the Philippines culinary masters like Celebrity Chef Rolando Laudico who will be present for a cooking demo with Pampanga’s very own Mrs. Lillian Borromeo.
Local culinary experts like Atching Lillian of Mexico, Pampanga will also share some of her authentic Kapampangan heirloom recipes.
Another famous Kapampangan, Chef Sau de Rosario – the executive Chef of F1 Hotel Manila will also showcase his cooking skills with the Big Bite visitors.
There will also be a family heirloom recipe contest where people can share their favorite recipes handed down from different generations. Contest is open to legal residents of C.A.R, Region I, Region II and Region III. Entries will be entertained on Friday, October 18, 2013, 7:00AM –10:00 at the MarQuee Park. The best recipe wins P20,000! As for the big eaters, everyone is welcome to join the food eating contests at Big Bite! Festival-goers will also be delighted with live entertainment nightly.
