Food Trip Part 4: All Day Dining Favorites in Angeles City
It isn’t a surprise how people, both locals, and tourists, find gastronomic satisfaction in the bustling city of Angeles. The place takes pride in having some of the country’s best dining spots ideal for any time of the day – be it for breakfast, lunch, merienda, dinner and even for midnight snacking. The food options are endless.
Having tried some of the restos serving real good dishes, I can’t help but appreciate how satisfying the various cuisines are – Western-inspired food included. Some of the best restaurants I’ve tried make excellent choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Take a look at these suggestions for a filling all-day dining experience.
Breakfast at Rob’s Gastropub + Sports
Rob’s has all the British feels
You might be wondering, ‘who will eat breakfast in a pub-slash-sports bar?’ If it’s in Rob’s Gastropub, I definitely will. This British-themed pub is open all day and serves some good ‘ol English breakfast, too. Their interesting selection won’t disappoint as familiar names like steak and eggs, pancakes and English breakfast are available. We had a taste of their sumptuous meals that come in huge servings big enough for feasting like a king.

The interiors bring a more authentic British pub feel. There’s a bar in the middle complete with an extensive range of liquors and alcoholic drinks. Interesting accents, wall art and decors like the British style telephone booth, street lamp, and barrels, are scattered in the area. Of course, there’s the Poker Room, which I believe comes alive at night time. If you feel like grabbing a filling breakfast in a new atmosphere, heading to Rob’s Gastropub is recommended.

Lunch at Paizano’s Pizzeria
your journey to an authentic new york pizza experience starts here
There’s nothing like indulging in some pizza and pasta for lunch. Good thing Angeles city prides of having a pizza house that serves mean New York inspired pizza, pasta, sandwiches and rice dishes. The newly renovated Paizano’s Pizzeria doesn’t take shortcuts in producing fresh, hand-tossed pizza. My ultimate fave was the White Pizza for its pure, creamy and cheesy goodness. The other dishes like the J’s Famous Baked Lasagna and Chicken Wings were surprisingly good, too.

Paizano’s clean and straightforward interiors clad in typography and white brick walls complete the New York pizzeria vibe. In fact, one of my colleagues who’s from the US said their pizza ‘tastes like home.’ Grab a pizza-rrific lunch complete with an ice cold beer at Paizano’s if you feel like eating comfort food staples that will surely hit the spot. They also offer free delivery services if you can’t make it to their store.

As mentioned before in my previous post on some of the city’s best dessert spots, Cioccolo serves sweet and decadent cakes perfect to end a day of palatable pleasure. Foodies and dessert lovers will surely find heaven in this secret hideaway café.
