Eating the Chinese way: Fun Practices to increase Prosperity
Having a grand experience at Xin Tian Di, I was able to try out some of its really interesting practices that is known to bring prosperity. As an appetizer they served the “Yu Sheng Salad”. It is prepared in a round table and we are supposed to hold our chopsticks and toss the fresh components of the salad as high as we can. They said the higher we toss, the better. Every component of the scrumptious salad is believe to represent opportunities, multiplication of profits and a lot more interesting prosperity beliefs in the Chinese culture. The tossed Yu Sheng Salad is served afterwards. Upon having a taste one can easily recognize the sweet and sour flavors combine in the taste buds. It has Salmon its meat.
Yu Sheng Salad
Yu Sheng Salad is included in the Chinese New Year Menu as an appetizer. The Chinese New Year Menu is worth the experience for it costs about P18,000++ per table of 10 persons. A very reasonable price for such a grand menu. As for the soup they have the “Double-Boiled Chicken, Ham and Wanton Soup” which surely soothes the tummy as it is mild in taste and warm upon every sip.
Whole Pineapple Fried Rice
Another add up for the main course is the “Sautéed Scallop with Broccoli and Fried Shredded Stuffed Prawns”. This is really rich in flavor and invigorating upon every swallow. Many will surely love the tender softness of the scallop and the sweet flavor of the Stuffed Prawns plus the crunchiness.
Baked Crispy Snow Asado Pao
To zoom in to Chef Andy’s specialty, included in the main course is the unique “Steamed Cod Fish with Wild Mushroom.” This is without a doubt worthy of being one of the mastered dishes of the chef. Upon every bite the tenderness explodes inside the mouth heightened by its creamy flavor. One could feel and bear in mind the healthiness of this dish.
Being creative in another dish, Chef Andy introduces the “Whole Pineapple Fried Rice”. A scrumptious treat that everyone will surely love. It is perfect to eat with the Steamed Cod Fish. One could easily be happy by the cute use of the pineapple to hold the fried rice.
Assorted Dim Sum
Xin Tian Di upon serving the desserts have been really grand in creativity and in taste. One would surely love the combination of the “Baked Crispy Snow Asado Pao”, “Special Buchi” and the “Ube Jelly”. The baked Crispy Snow Asado Pao really loads the tummy. The Special Buchi which is fried with a strawberry in the middle is really crunchy and the Ube Jelly makes the one tastes it smile because of its heart shape and sweet mild flavor.
