I’m currently here in Kuala Lumpur for the Airphil Express Kuala Lumpur Fam Tour together with fellow Pinoy Travel Bloggers and currently all of us will be staying here at Radius International Hotel in Bukit Bintang till the 24th of June.

Convenience wise, the hotel is surrounded by some of Kuala Lumpur’s best dining, nightlife and the hotel is near Kuala Lumpur’s best shopping areas including Low Yat – a popular computer and gadget central. The hotel is few blocks away from Jalan Alor – a place known for hawker foods in Kuala Lumpur. Theres also a 7eleven convenience store right in front of the hotel just in case you need something to buy.

I tried to check some of the amenities and I was able to see their swimming pool located at the 5th floor. The pool is not that big but it can be crowded in most times. Radius International Hotel is within 3 km of Kuala Lumpur’s iconic Petronas Twin Towers and the well-known Handicraft Centre at Central Market. If you love to walk, you can also visit the China Town just like what I did last night.

I’m currently staying at the 15th floor in one of the premier rooms and I was so lucky to have a room with a view, seeing the city skyline is truly priceless. The hotel is not equipped with high class classic furnishings but each room has a fridge, cable TV, coffee and tea bar and a spacious bathroom with basic toiletries.

Bring your own Standard 3-pin square plugs and sockets as the Hotel is using British type of plug. You can borrow a 3-pin square plugs at the concierge but you will be required to deposit RM10 which will be returned once you surrendered the square plugs.

The reception area is open 24-hours in case you need assistance. They also offer complimentary buffet breakfast offering Malaysian food at the ground floor Kopitiam but you can have breakfast outside the hotel if you prefer Continental breakfast. The Kopitiam (coffee shop) also offers other local favourites at an affordable price and is open 24 hours.

The hotel is not really a first class hotel but the services are pretty good. The reception staff were very friendly and approachable and I think that’s one thing important. With the superb location and fairly good facilities within the hotel, surely your stay will be truly enjoyable just don’t expect too much though but one things for sure, you will be getting what you paid for.
