Day Tour at Dakak Beach Resort
After an early morning walk around the vicinity of my Hotel in Dipolog City, I saw a small bus with a destination sign that says, “Dapitan City.” The first thing that came to my mind is Dakak – a popular beach resort I used to see in TV commercials during my childhood days.
Without any extra preparation, I went back to the hotel to get my camera then proceeded to the bus stop to wait for the next Dapitan City-bound Mini Bus.

It was a scenic 20-minute Bus trip, and I almost didn’t notice that we are already in Dapitan City until I saw everyone getting off the bus… except for the driver, of course:) From the Bus terminal, I took an almost 40-minute exhilarating habal-habal ride to reach the resort.
There are no other means of transportation other than habal-habal if you are not staying guests. One way habal-habal ride will cost you P150, and if the driver agrees, you can request him to tour you around Rizal Shrine.

Upon arrival at the resort’s gate, I was asked to pay a P500 entrance fee inclusive of meals and use of some of the resort facilities.
