Luneta Hotel to open very very soon
Last May 9, 2014, a historical marker was installed by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. With its remarkable belle epoque design of the hotels facade, this six-storey hotel used to be one of the grandest hotel in Asia.
Luneta Hotel was first opened in 1919 and it was designed by famous Spanish architect Salvador Farre. The hotel was one of the few structures that survived the bombing of Manila during the climax of World War II.

This hotel in TM Kalaw used to be one of the tallest building constructed in Manila during the prewar era. Back in the day, the hotel was known for being where the rich and the beautiful stayed and was especially noted for serving the best breakfast in Manila! That and it has a ton of beautiful gargoyles that not only scare away demons but also serve the function of causing water to drip rather than run down the walls.
After six years of reconstruction and restoration, Luneta Hotel will soon reopen with 27 well appointed rooms. The boutique hotel is now starting to accept bookings, call 708-2318.
