The Manila Hotel Art Gallery Presents Lander Blanza’s “Prominence”

Art enthusiasts and visitors looking for cultural experiences in Manila can explore Prominence: A Visual Break from the Norm, the 12th solo exhibition of Filipino multidimensional artist Lander Blanza at The Manila Hotel’s Art Gallery.

The month-long exhibition presents Blanza’s distinctive approach to tone, depth, balance, and texture. Through carefully developed compositions and tonal manipulation, his works create dimension and movement, encouraging visitors to look beyond each piece’s initial visual impact.

Exploring Wealth, Nature, and Landscapes Through Art

Prominence features several of Blanza’s notable art series, each exploring different themes and visual expressions.

The Abundance series draws inspiration from wealth and prosperity, translating these concepts into visually engaging compositions. Meanwhile, the Big Catch series celebrates nature’s richness and seemingly limitless bounty, offering an artistic interpretation of abundance in the natural world.

The Ridge series shifts the focus to landscapes, transforming dramatic mountain formations into atmospheric compositions. Through variations in tone, depth, and texture, Blanza captures the character of rugged terrain while giving the landscapes a distinctive artistic identity.

Works from his Bonsai, Lucky Bamboo, and Money Tree series combine intricate craftsmanship with familiar symbols associated with beauty, harmony, growth, and good fortune.
