Cebu Pacific to launch Batanes Flights on March 25
The quaint scenery, strong waves, and green pastures are just some of the many reasons why Batanes is on every wanderlusts bucket list and as if Cebu Pacific just heard about people’s plea for another option for travel to the “Marlboro Country of the Philippines”; they are launching on March 25, 2018, the Manila to Basco, Batanes route. It’s the perfect announcement for the coming summer travel season.

Batanes was the most requested destination on social media by eager netizens when the aviation company presented the campaign last year. Cebu Pacific used the hashtag #CEBFlyMeTo to gather votes from followers on where they want the next Cebu Pacific flight to head. Bantayan Island, Cebu; Daet, Camarines Norte; Mati, Davao Oriental; San Vicente, Palawan and Siquijor were the other well-liked destinations. The top picks were evaluated based on the following criteria; airport infrastructure, safety and security processes and passenger facilities.
“Our new flight to Basco is in keeping with our commitment to connect more of the Philippines and make air travel safe, affordable, reliable, and fun-filled for everyjuan. What makes this route more special is that netizens were actively engaged in the selection of our new destination—our customers were part of the process,” Alexander Lao, Cebgo President and CEO narrated.

An introductory all-in-seat sale flights from Manila to Basco from February 12 to 13, 2018 is being offered by CEB until supplies last.
