Eco Adventure at Puerto Galera Adventure and Recreational Ecopark

Located on the hills of Mt. Malasimbo, a paradise for adventure seekers was recently opened in Puerto Galera. Aside from the beautiful panoramic view of Puerto Galera Bay, tourists visiting this coastal town can now enjoy the eco-adventure facilities offered at the Puerto Galera Adventure and Recreational Ecopark.

Hanging Bridge

The Recreational ecopark offers various adventure packed activities like the cargo net climb, hanging bridge and the zipline. The zipline is 650 meters in length and it offers an exhilarating ride while viewing the beautiful rainforest of Mount Malasimbo, the beautiful bay, Ponderosa Golf course and the nearby islands.

Their Zipline features 250m drop double steel cables with breaking load of 9.5 tons each cable for maximum security. The also have a viewing deck that offers 360 degree view of Puerto Galera and Batangas through seacoast telescope.

The ecopark also offers Canopy Walk, Hanging Bridges and Tree Houses and a 90 feet cargo net climb. Visitors can also take souvenir photos with some of the exotic animals in their mini zoo. They have Fallow deer (dama dama), Rusa Deer (Rusa Timorensis), Native deer (Rusa Marianna), American Mulefoot (Sus Scrofa domestica), Pekin duck (Anas platyrhynchos domestica).

The entire ecopark is located at the famous Ponderosa Golf and Country Club.

How to reach Puerto Galera Adventure and Recreational Ecopark

To reach Ponderosa you can either take a one and a half hour hike, or 20 minutes shuttle service from the resort.
