AirAsia named Best Low-Cost Airline by Business Traveller Asia Pacific

Manila, Philippines — On September 12, Thursday, AirAsia has been named as Best Low-Cost Airline by Business Traveller Asia Pacific for the eighth year in a row, as posted at www.businesstraveller.com beating EasyJet and HK Express for the honor.

The Business Traveller Asia Pacific Awards is a prestigious travel award that recognizes product and service excellence in aviation and hospitality, as voted by readers of the travel magazine, which has a circulation of 30,000 globally.

The announcement of winners was held in an exclusive presentation luncheon at the Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong – wherein AirAsia Hong Kong and Macao CEO Celia Lao accepted the award at the venue.

The Business Traveller Asia-Pacific magazine is now on its 28th year, launched in 1982, based their results of the best airlines, airports, hotels and travel destinations via votes and feedback of its readers for their outstanding service and hospitality.

Aside from the Best Low-Cost Airline award, they also award those categories for first class and business class. That goes with the hotel category as well, from best business hotels brand in Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, North America, and in the world.

For the airport category, they give an award for the Best Airport in the World and in Asia-Pacific, wherein the Changi Airport always claim the top spot.

Not to mention, the Business Traveller Asia-Pacific magazine also awarded Makati Shangri-La as the top business hotel in Manila, with Shangri-La at the Fort placing 2nd, and The Peninsula at 3rd.
