10,000mAh Battery: What to Expect From the Upcoming vivo V80 Lite

That is the headline feature of the upcoming vivo V80 Lite, which is set to arrive in the Philippines with vivo’s largest smartphone battery capacity globally.
The vivo V80 Lite packs a 10,000mAh BlueVolt Battery supported by 4th Gen Silicon Anode Technology. The technology is designed to provide higher battery capacity without the bulk typically associated with very large batteries.
What Can a 10,000mAh Battery Do?
vivo’s laboratory testing gives an early look at the V80 Lite’s potential endurance.
The smartphone recorded up to 30 hours of video streaming, 30 hours of TikTok playback, 68 hours of calls, and 14 hours of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang gaming during single-app tests.
For travelers, the battery could be particularly useful for long days involving maps, ride-hailing applications, messaging, photography, streaming, and navigation.
Actual battery performance will vary depending on usage, connectivity, settings, temperature, and other factors.
vivo Is Also Focusing on Battery Longevity
The V80 Lite is designed to maintain at least 80% battery health after 1,400 charging cycles, according to vivo.
Based on vivo’s laboratory-simulated usage pattern, the company estimates that this could translate to roughly seven years of use.
The phone is also designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 45°C. At 45°C, vivo’s laboratory tests recorded up to 45 hours of continuous calls and 16 hours of navigation.
A Record-Setting Battery Test Is Coming
vivo is not stopping at laboratory testing. The company says it will put the V80 Lite through a record-setting endurance challenge, with more details expected soon.
The upcoming test could provide another indication of what the phone’s 10,000mAh battery can deliver outside standard single-app laboratory measurements.
For Filipino consumers who spend long hours away from a charger, the V80 Lite’s battery capacity will be one of its biggest talking points when it officially launches.
