Lotus Tirta Seminyak Hotel Review
Check out Lotus Tirta Seminyak if you’re looking for affordable accommodation in Bali, Indonesia. We booked this 3-star hotel located in the heart of Seminyak via Agoda.com and stayed here during our most recent Bali trip. For your reference, we paid only Php 2,324 for 2 people in 2 nights without breakfast and chose to get 2 single beds. You can also get the optional breakfast package.
HOTEL LOCATION

This hotel has a great location, and you’ll get the best value for your money. In front of it is a mini-mart, and it is also close to the famous Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. At Lotus Tirta Seminyak, you’ll get the best of both worlds – you can still enjoy the area’s peacefulness while being just a few minutes’ walk from the busiest streets and alleys, plus the energetic nightlife scene of Seminyak. Nearby, there are a lot of restaurants, ATMs, gyms, cafes, convenience stores, arts and crafts stores, laundry shops, and other local attractions. Heavy traffic doesn’t also build up on the main road nearest to it, adding more points.
ARRIVAL EXPERIENCE
We checked in past 6PM, and the staff was already waiting for us at the hotel gate. It was even drizzling, and they were ready with umbrellas. Immediately after we were dropped off, they asked our names to confirm us as guests and helped carry our bags to the lobby.

The attendants at the front desk were all English-speaking, so we didn’t have a hard time communicating. The check-in was quick and easy, and we were led to our rooms.
ROOMS
Lotus Tirta Seminyak offers 4 types of rooms – the standard room, a room with pool access, a 2-bedroom villa, and a 3-bedroom villa. We got the 18 square meters standard room with access to the balcony and a pool view. We also opted for 2 double beds, but you can also request for 1 double/queen-sized bed.

Our room is located on the 2nd floor. It was clean, non-smoking, and gave proper privacy. It has a decent hot and cold shower, bathroom, hair dryer, cabinets, TV, and free toiletries. We were already happy with these basic amenities, which were the only things we were really after because we were touring during the daytime anyway. The air conditioner works well, and we didn’t encounter any problem with it or anything inside the room for 2 consecutive nights of stay, except that the phone isn’t working. We had to go to the first floor to ask the attendants if we needed assistance. They were sorry about this, and when I needed to make a call through the landline, they were helpful enough to lend me their own phones.

The staff was also nice enough to lend us a clothes rack for our wet clothes, although it wasn’t included in our booking. There is a small table below the wall-mounted TV if you want to use it as a desk, but there’s no designated work area. Anyway, there are a lot of co-working cafes nearby.
RESORT FACILITIES
The hotel has a pool with a mini garden that looks well-maintained. If you would book a room with pool access, you get a space where you can lounge at the poolside. For those with standard rooms like us, we can access the pool and sit by the benches they provide for everyone. Wi-Fi is free to access to all guests, and you can also have a vehicle for rental arranged. They also offer airport transfers if you need them.

The place has a kitchen and a BBQ area, but we couldn’t use them since we always left early for our tours. For those who would need to park, the hotel also has limited space for free car parking.
DEPARTURE
Another thing I liked about this hotel is its 24-hour front desk. This made checking out also very quick. We advised the front desk the night before that we were leaving early. At around 5AM, we left the key, and the staff helped us bring our bags to the ground floor.

The whole place gave a homey vibe, and as travelers, we liked that. We had everything we needed from the hotel for our trip. I am also surprised you can even request babysitting for an additional charge! They also have a photocopier, cooking classes, postal/courier services, and a 24-hour security guard – things hotels won’t normally have. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Lotus Tirta Seminyak.
