You might have visited a number of places. In this whole world there are some beautiful places to visit and when it comes to some creepiest destination, there are many which will cause shivering in your body. These entire destinations are creepy but at the same time, it attracts a lot of visitors who love creepy things and destinations. But, it is advised that people with a soft heart should not visit these places or never visit this place alone. 7. House of the Bulgarian Communist Party — Mount Buzludzha, Bulgaria

At number 7 in our list, we place the House of the Bulgarian communist party. This place served as the hub of the communist party of Bulgaria when it was inaugurated in the year 1981. With the fall of the Soviet reign in this area, this place was abandoned in order to show the demise of the ruling party. Most of the parts of the rooftop have been stolen and the entire place is left alone. The locals are trying hard to open this place as a tourist attraction, but the cost is so high that the government has not taken any further step.

6. Wonderland Amusement Park — Beijing, China

At no. 6 is the Wonderland park of Beijing. This amusement park was built for creating the same attraction as the Disney land did. In the year 1998, some disputes over the land resulted in the halting of the construction of this park. The amusement park covers a lot of areas and after abandonment; it feels like the house of the ghost. Most of the lands are being used now for growing crops by the farmer residing in the nearby areas. It has been heard that the structure will be demolished and pave the way for construction of a shopping mall.

After visiting this place, the first impression you will have about this place is “is this a set of some horror movie”. But, the answer is no. At no. 5 in our list is the Psychiatric hospital of Marlboro Town, U.S.A. This hospital lasted about 67 years from the day it was opened in the year 1931. This hospital is creepy because of the events that took place within its boundary. Several patients admitted went missing; even some of them choked to death and some in a dramatic manner got frozen to death.

These sorts of incidents led to the investigation in the early 1970s. The Public advocate office carried on the investigation. But even after the investigation, this hospital operated for nearly 2 decades.

Now, the government is planning to demolish this building and build a place for recreation for people residing in nearby areas.

What can be creepier than a whole town being vacated? At number 4 in our list is the town of Pripyat located in Ukraine. In the year 1986, the famous incident of the leakage in the Chernobyl nuclear plant took place. This area comes near to the power plant as was used to provide housing facility for thousands of workers of this plant. The incident led to the evacuation of the entire city. This city now is empty and the still the ill-effects of the radiation can be seen.

3. Hotel del Salto — San Antonio del Tequendama, Colombia

Once a hotel and a perfect view of natural beauty, the Hotel Del Salto of the San Antonia, Columbia is in the 3rd place in our list. In the year 1923, this hotel was built for customers alongside the Tequendama waterfall. In the 1950s, the name Del Salto was given to this hotel. There are many stories related to the abandonment of this hotel. Some say that the contamination of the nearby waterfall resulted in the abandonment while other beliefs that the hotel served as a site for a number of suicides. This hotel has been transformed into a museum.

2. Villa Epecuén — Buenos Aires Province, Argentina

Once what used to be a tourist attraction has turned into an abandoned place. At no. 2 we have the Villa Epecuen, Buenos Aires. This place in the early part of the 1980s served as a tourist attraction. This village was built near the lake Epecuen whose water was maintained by the nearby dam. The year 1985 brought catastrophe with it as the dam broke down and the whole village was flooded. Later, the water went away but the village is still vacant.

It is a place where you will have goose-bumps and the blood will become cold; at the top position in our list is the Isla de las Muñecas or the Island of the dolls. This island is situated in the outer area of the Mexico City. This island is the house of countless dolls. You will find a number of dolls hanging here and there on the walls and on the trees.

The story behind these dolls is mind-blowing. The caretaker of the island found a dead girl in a canal that used to flow near this island. He used to collect these dolls and hang it on the walls or the trees to calm down the dead girl’s spirit. To add to this event, in the year 2001, the caretaker was found dead. You won’t believe that the spot of his death was same as of that girl.

All these places are creepy from the very first sight. There are many interesting stories about these places and some creepy events happened at these places too. So, if you are planning to visit any of these places, please be careful.
