Kapamilya Themed Experiences Lets You Be A star for a Day

ABS-CBN Studio Experience is a themed experience where you play the star for a couple of hours. So you can try your luck at The Voice and have the likes of Bamboo and Sharon Cuneta turn their seats around for you. You can also enter the PBB house. One of the highlights of the Studio Experience is the Action Academy where players can take on the obstacle course and stunt training. All in all, they’ve got 15 attractions.

I attended the media launch for the store despite the threat of super typhoon Mangkhut and was pleased with what they had in store. The first part you’ll see is their retail store where Kapamilya souvenir from their shows and love teams can be bought. After some checking out at the store, we were ushered to enter the studio as if we were stars complete with velvet curtains.

We started the tour by getting familiar with old framed photos and costumes from memorable Kapamilya scenes. They even got a replica of ABS-CBN’s studio transmitter. Aside from the attractions I’ve mentioned, another adventure not to be missed is their ARX (Augmented Reality Game) where visitors can try their luck to defeat virtual monsters. Guests below 12 years old can take fun in the Superheroes Playground and other selected Studio XP attractions. I tried the Kapamilya Theater because I was chicken to try The Voice but I don’t regret it as I had a great time watching ASAP 4D. The feeling was like I’m actually watching ASAP live so it was intense.

The 1,400 sqm. The studio has a small booth where you can buy their organic Heroes Burger. I had a taste of it and I give thumbs up because I like smoky flavors in the meat. Entrance fee for first-time visitors of the studio is Php375 and Php350 for returning visitors with access to all attractions except Starsnaps and Star Catcher and Php300 for first-time visitors and Php275 for returning with access to all attractions except Kapamilya Theater, Starsnaps and Star Catcher.

ABS-CBN Themed Experiences (official website) head Cookie Bartolome hinted that there’s a possibility of seeing your favorite star at the store.
