About Max’s Restaurant

Max’s Restaurant in the Philippines was founded in 1945 by Maximo Gimenez, who opened a small café in Quezon City to serve American soldiers after World War II. What initially started as a humble meeting spot quickly gained fame for its tender, home-style fried chicken, a dish that still defines the brand today. In 1947, Max’s launched its famous “Sarap to the Bones” chicken recipe, which helped build its reputation across the country.

Over the decades, Max’s has evolved into one of the Philippines’ largest casual dining chains, expanding both locally and internationally. It has become a symbol of Filipino family dining, frequently selected for celebrations and reunions. Today, the company is part of Max’s Group, Inc., which also owns well-known brands like Pancake House and Yellow Cab.

An interesting fact is that Max’s fried chicken is not battered, which results in a lighter, crispier texture. Additionally, the original Quezon City house continues to influence many of its restaurant designs today.

Max’s Menu remains a diverse selection of Filipino favorites suitable for solo diners and large groups. The updated Max’s Menu Prices for 2026 help customers plan their meals and budget more effectively, whether they are dining in, ordering delivery, or hosting events.

For the most precise pricing, it is advisable to verify directly with your nearest Max’s Restaurant branch or through the official delivery platform.
