Refreshing seasonal specialties, tasting menus for Mother’s and Father’s Day celebrations, and street-dining delights bring a relaxed holiday spirit to gatherings large and small
Hong Kong – This summer, Bistro Hoi An gracefully celebrates Vietnam’s beloved culinary classics by offering inviting tasting menus and seasonal specialties. Among these is the restaurant’s highlight—a meticulously crafted Hong Kong’s largest bamboo charcoal bánh mì, which promises an extraordinary flavor experience. This record-breaking baguette, available in limited quantities at the ELEMENTS branch starting on April 23, 2026, coincides with the opening of the annual Bánh Mì Festival in Ho Chi Minh City. Its presence enhances the lively and authentic Vietnamese atmosphere, inviting guests to indulge in a true taste of Vietnam’s rich culinary heritage.

Bistro Hoi An
The bistro’s signature Vietnamese dining experience is now available at Civic Square in ELEMENTS, opened last August in a picturesque two-story setting reminiscent of the UNESCO-listed, lantern-lit Hoi An old town, as well as at the original Gold Coast Piazza branch in Tuen Mun. Managed by Cafe Deco Group, both venues emphasize vibrant flavors and welcoming hospitality, merging Vietnam’s culinary heritage with the casual neighborhood dining style of the French colonial period.
The name Bistro Hoi An, meaning ‘peaceful meeting place,’ is reflected in its interiors, where lanterns, patterned tiles, and handcrafted details evoke Hoi An’s historic streets. It invites diners to enjoy lively gatherings or intimate culinary experiences in cozy corners.
Celebrate the Bánh Mì Festival with Bistro Hoi An’s Record-Breaking Bánh Mì – from 23 April to 30 June 2026

To mark Vietnam’s beloved Bánh Mì Festival, Bistro Hoi An presents a show-stopping 20-inch Bamboo Charcoal Bánh Mì in a summertime promotion at the ELEMENTS restaurant that extends from 23 April to 30 June 2026. Bánh mì enthusiasts can savor crunchy black Vietnamese-style French bread, baked with bamboo charcoal and filled with generous layers of succulent chicken and pork liver house pâtés, five-spice pork belly, pork floss, pickled vegetables, scallions, coriander, chili, and sot dau trung (Vietnamese mayonnaise), finished with a splash of fish sauce.
This striking centerpiece costs HK$188 and is limited to 20 pieces each day, making each special sandwich a unique treat. To enjoy the best experience, it is recommended that diners book and reserve the 20-inch Bamboo Charcoal Bánh Mì at least 24 hours ahead to ensure availability and avoid disappointment.
The bamboo charcoal bánh mì can be paired with a glass of Vietnamese specialty coffee or tea for HK$28 per person, down from the original HK$55-HK$60. Options include Cà Phê Sua (Coffee with Condensed Milk), Cà Phê Den (Black Coffee), Cà Phê Dua (Iced Coffee with Condensed Milk and Coconut), Cà Phê Muoi (Coffee with Condensed Milk, Cream, and Sea Salt), and Ginger Glow Tea.
The promotion showcases Bistro Hoi An’s partnership with Hoi An Roastery, integrating Vietnam’s celebrated coffee tradition into the dining experience. Originating in Hoi An, the roastery emphasizes direct trade with small-scale farmers in Central Vietnam, sourcing high-quality Robusta and exclusive Arabica beans. Its focus on quality, traceability, and sustainability benefits farmers, creates local jobs, and supports barista training.

Enhance your epic dining experience with a stunning Vietnamese Flavor Platter featuring a variety of appetizers served on a large round bamboo tray. It includes Vietnamese Steamed Savoury Rice Cake, Prawn & Avocado Rice Paper Roll, Crispy Pork & Taro Spring Roll, Vietnamese Chicken Skewer, and Honey Pomelo Prawn Salad.
