The Asian Cultural Council Philippines (ACCP) has teamed up with the National Museum to present “Layers and Shadows,” an exhibition featuring the diverse works of artist Demi Padua.

As part of ACCP’s special events celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, this event showcases Demi’s outstanding talent and also promotes ACCP’s goal of encouraging cultural exchange and growth through the ACC Philippine Fellowship Program.
The donation and support from DF Art Agency, Demi Padua, and The Good Hope Future Foundation will directly benefit the ACC Philippines Fellowship Program. This program is designed to help Filipino artists, scholars, and cultural practitioners grow in their careers. It offers opportunities for professional development and international collaboration, highlighting and promoting the country’s rich cultural heritage.
The partnership between ACC Philippines Foundation, the National Museum, and supporters from the arts and business sectors highlights the significance of cultural exchange and arts development. By backing Filipino artists and showcasing their work internationally, ACCP consistently enhances the nation’s cultural scene.
Demi Padua is a renowned Filipino artist celebrated for his striking portraits and trompe l’oeil technique. His works are characterized by intricate details and layers, inviting viewers to delve into the depths of his artistry. Padua’s artistic journey includes numerous solo and group exhibitions both locally and internationally, showcasing his remarkable talent and creativity. Among his accolades, he received the Grand Prize at the 2013 Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Tanaw Art Competition, as well as awards from the AAP, GSIS Museum, and Metrobank.
“Layers and Shadows” by Demi Padua will be on public display at the Sergio Osmeña Hall, National Museum of Fine Arts, from August 13 to 26, 2025.
