Iloilo City 46th Dinagyang Festival 2014 Schedule of Activities

Iloilo City, Philippines — Now that the Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation Inc. (IDFI) has officially launched its 46th Iloilo Dinagyang Festival 2014 celebration, travelers can now start buying their airline tickets and book their hotels for Dinagyang 2014. The foundation announced that the 46th Dinagyang Festival 2014 will be on Jan 24-26, 2014.

46th Dinagyang Festival 2014 Schedule of Activities

The official Dinagyang 2014 Schedule of Activities are not yet released but it was announced that the 2014 Dinagyang tagline is “Bringing ‘More Fun’ to the World!”

The organizers said that they launched the festival early to help aspiring participants to prepare earlier for the event as well as for them to invite more visitors to come in Iloilo.

Iloilo Dinagyang Festival won 4 times in the yearly Aliwan Fiesta and has been known as Best Tourism Event in the country.

The organizers added that the final performing area for competing tribes of the Dinagyang Festival will still be at the Freedom Grandstand.

Three Ati-ati tribes that were champions in previous years are expected to come back. Those tribes are Tribu Bola Bola of the Iloilo National High School, Tribu Pan-ay of the Fort San Pedro National High School and Tribu Paghidaet of La Paz National High School. We can expect the best of the best performances because the three former champions will be performing again for the 2014 Dinagyang Festival.

Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation Inc. is expecting 13 tribes to perform for the Kasadyahan competition while 12 tribes for the Ati-ati contest.
